Widgets

PhotoPressPro supports WordPress widgets. Also included with the theme are widgets that have been specially designed for the drop-down header navigation menu, called PPP Simple Link and PPP Simple Search. By default, no widgets are activated, so a default set of items are used. To customize your header menu or footer, go to Design (or Appearance) -> Widgets and drag some widgets from the from the “Available” section to any of the widget areas on the right and save your changes. Note: The menu and footer items you see when you first install the theme will go away when you add widgets. They are defaults and will be displayed if no widgets are added to an area.

Navigation Menu

To customize your header menu items, go to Appearance > Widgets in your WordPress admin. Drag some widgets from “Available” or “Inactive” section to the “Drop-down menu” on the right. Note: The menu items you see when you first install the theme will go away when you add widgets. They are defaults and will only be displayed if no widgets are added to the dropdown menu.

There are many more options in the PhotoPressPro Control Panel. You can choose to align the menu to the left, right, or center; or right-aligned with an extra link to the home page on the left. You can choose a separator character to be inserted between menu items, or upload a small image – around 16px tall works best, but it depends on the height of the font and/or menu. Choose a font family and size, and make the text all uppercase or lowercase, if you wish.
